We wish to provide a safe environment to all our patients so that you can feel assured that we are doing everything we can to minimize the risk of cross infection when you wish to avail yourself of our services. Owing to the high transmissibility of the Omicron variant and since social distancing is not possible in our work, we now have the below policy in place :
- We will require all patients to have a negative RAT test 15 minutes before treatment. We will provide the RAT test in the clinic and therefore we ask that you arrive 20 minutes before your appointed time. This policy will be maintained until such time that the infection rates in Hong Kong has decreased to an acceptable safer level.
- Aerosol generating procedures such as extended cleaning, fillings and crowns can only be provided within 24 hours of a negative PCR test.
- If you have not had a dental clean for more than 6 months, then extended cleaning will likely be necessary. However, if you do not wish to have a PCR test, then an examination can be done with a RAT test and should extended cleaning be necessary, we can either proceed only with a standard clean or postpone until after a PCR test.
Only fully vaccinated “ new “ patients will be admitted. Proof of vaccination will be required.
